Bodo's Bagels

I had a delicious everything bagel with bacon, egg and cheese. Cooked to perfection and a great value.

This place has always been consistently amazing. I've never came in and had a bad experience. I've been coming years and will continue to.

Easily one of my favorite places for breakfast or lunch. Good food, good variety, good prices.

The reason I'm giving Bodo's 2 stars is mainly because, the bagel was cold when I received it. The cheese on the bagel was also cold, I know they are "water bagels", so the idea is that the bagel is soft and less caloric, but I believe the food should at least be warm/hot when it is served. To add, the coffee wasn't the best. The only positive aspect I experienced was the service. The service there is really fast and the employees are nice.

Fresh bagels and fast service. These people are professionals. We ordered eggs and bacon sandwich’s. Delicious. Will visit again. Highly recommend!

Bodo's is a great place for Breakfast and Lunch, although I would not recommend a Bagel shop for dinner/supper. Often times the folks of Charlottesville gather here before the University of Virginia sports games, and this restaurant is a big hit down by The Corner, and is considered the best Bagel shop is the area. Although it ca get insanely busy during sport season, still a magnificent place to eat. 5 stars all the way.

Chicken salad sandwich (actually turkey) on an everything bagel with Muenster cheese. Add a large drink and the tab is still under $6. A must-do in Cville

As former residents of Albemarle County, we miss Bodo's and try to go there each time we come home to visit. As always, our sandwiches were wonderful, service was fast & friendly, and I have a few bagels to travel home with.

If you like bagels and are new to the area, this is a must restaurant for breakfast or lunch. They have great salads and make 2 in-house soups per day!

Not being from Charlottesville, I was unfamiliar with place before visiting. I was immediately hooked. I don't know how they do it but those bagels are great. Coffee is too.

My coworker suggested that we stop here. OMG, I fell in love! The bagels are the best, light, airy, and chewy in a good way.

It's a Bodo's. Cheap healthy and filling food always fresh. The only time I'm disappointed with them is when they are closed.

Fresh hot bagels, tons of toppings, and fast service make this place incredibly popular. I have never not seen a line nearly to the door, and it's often out the door.

Most delicious bagels I have tasted. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and the bagel was easy to bite and chew...so fresh and moist! I will make Bodo's Bagels a special stop when in the area from now on!!

If you're in Charlottesville, you have to eat here. You just have to! There are 3 locations- all delicious!

I've been coming here since the mid 90s. The food, staff, and experience is amazing everytime. The food is delicious, the prices are phenomenal and bagels are the best I've ever had. I would recommend the chicken salad on an onion bagel. My wife gets something different everytime, and you can't go wrong with anything you order.

Long lines but it was very fast service.I loved all the vegetarian options and my bagel was perfect.I also got a coffee which was really nice and strong.I would highly recommend this place

There's a reason why this place is always so busy. If you want a fresh bagel, perhaps even made into a breakfast or lunch sandwich, this is the place to come. They have about 10 varieties of bagels and just as many cream cheeses, plus meats, cheeses, veggies, or other condiments to top your bagel. They lightly warm/toast your bagel too. Their service is fast and the prices are low too. So good. I go for an everything bagel with olive cream cheese, as well as some lettuce, tomato, and cucumber and then I'm in heaven.

Have never been to a place quite like this. From out of town and had breakfast here before visiting Monticello. Had to place a second order to go lol.

LOVE this place! I'll go every time I'm in town from now on! The wait looks super long but they are a machine and can jam through a line faster than you'd think!

I've been a regular customer at this location for over 15 years. Love their food and the service. However recently, my orders have been inconsistently with what is displayed on my reciept. Me and my spouse's bagels are often switched resulting in a very messy exchange of sandwiches. Proper order fulfillment is the only thing keeping my review from being 5-stars! Peace.

A bagel is a pretty simple food item, but finding the perfect one- chewy crust with a soft dense core - can be awfully hard. Bodos does an awesome job. Always stop by when in Charlottesville. Love their jalapeno lime cream cheese spread!

Good food but can be a bit pricey on some items. My coworker and I thought it would be a good idea to add some shrimp and salmon and whitefish salad from Bodos to our salads at the office. We were quite disappointed at the serving size compared to the cost. The shrimp salad was $3.42 for an amount that barely covered the bottom of the container and the salmon and whitefish salad was $4.20 for an amount that was the size of a small crab cake. We won't make that mistake again!

I had the usual, everything bagel with chicken salad. It was good.

If you know, you know. This is an absolute must when spending any amount of time, short or long, in C-ville. Thankfully, they have multiple locations to choose from so you’re never too far away from the best bagels in Charlottesville.

How do you not love Bodos! Fantastically delicious bagels baked daily with tasty things you can add in the middle (eggs, sausage, turkey, tomatoes, etc!). They are also conveniently located with enough parking to match the turnover on busy days. We stop by every time were visiting Charlottesville or passing through. Definitely don't miss a chance to stop by!

The BEST breakfast bagel! Sausage egg and American cheese on a salt bagel is the best hangover food ever. Long line but moves quickly and totally worth the wait.

I grew up in fluvanna county and ate bodos all the time. I now live in nc and come up once or twice a year and bodos is a must have stop! Sesame seed bagel with tuna!

Bodo's is an institution here. I often joke with friends that an untoasted bagel is a travesty, but the soft chewy crust is right every time. I love the service, atmosphere, and freshness here. Get the deli egg.

I always loved bodos but not when I find plastic in my food. Almost choked.

For those of you who think "how good can a bagel in Charlottesville, VA, really be?" (a valid question!), ponder no more - these are the real deal and as good as any bagel I've had in Baltimore, Philly, DC, and even NYC. Slightly crunchy on the outside, chewy on the inside, always hot because they go through so many. Don't be discouraged by a long line, they move quickly and are very efficient/speedy with the orders. Best of all only $9 for a dozen.

First time visiting this impressive, and busy, bagel shoppe! Don't let the long line turn you away. The bagels are worth the wait, and actually the line moves relatively fast.So maybe the photo doesn't do it justice, but my plain bagel with strawberry cream cheese was fantastic. I think my bagel and 12 oz Coke was around $3.50. A breakfast bargain!

This is my favorite place to go in Charlottesville....I always get a salt bagel w/ Roast beef and turkey, provolone, lettuce and mayo and a caesar salad extra dressing....you can't go wrong with this place....quality food and fast, cheerful service!!!! You 😁

Always a line out the door but it moves quickly. One of the better bagels I've ever had.
